By registering for an account you agree to the terms below. Accounts that breach them may be suspended without notice.
1. Lawful use only
Use the service only for lawful purposes connected to your enrolled organization. You are responsible for the content you store and share, and for complying with the laws and regulations that apply to it.
2. Keep your credentials safe
Your account is personal. Do not share your username, password, or one-time codes, and do not let anyone else use your account. Report a suspected compromise to your organization's administrator immediately.
3. Respect the shared infrastructure
Do not attempt to disrupt, overload, or probe the service or its networks; do not upload malware; and do not use the service to send unsolicited bulk messages or to distribute content that infringes the rights of others.
4. Privacy and data protection
Handle personal data in line with your organization's obligations. The service stores the details you provide at registration and the files you upload; it does not inspect your content beyond what is required to operate and secure the platform.
5. Suspension and termination
Accounts that breach this policy may be suspended or terminated. Access is provided for as long as your organization remains enrolled and in good standing.
6. Cookies and browser storage
This service stores as little as possible. Only storage that the site strictly needs to function is set without consent; everything else is optional and switched off until you allow it. The complete inventory is listed in this section.
Strictly necessary (always on)
Session and security cookies keep you signed in, connect you to the server that holds your session, and protect your actions against cross-site forgery (CSRF). They are first-party, carry no identity of their own, and expire when your session ends. This storage is required for the service to work and cannot be switched off.
Functional preferences (always on)
First-party storage that remembers the choices you made yourself — your language, your display theme, and your cookie preference. It contains no tracking and no identifiers beyond your own selections, so it is always available without separate consent.
Preferences and analytics (optional)
Optional first-party storage for usage insight. No such storage is in use today — the category is listed so you can see the complete picture; if we ever add an analytics capability, it only loads after you allow this category.
The storage we use
Every item below is first-party: it is set by this service, read only by this service, and never used to follow you to other sites. Names are described functionally on purpose — the descriptions tell you everything the item does.
| Storage |
Purpose |
Duration |
| Sign-in session — management environment |
Keeps you signed in while you work in the management environment. Contains a signed, random token — not your credentials. |
Up to 12 hours, or until you sign out. |
| Sign-in session — self-service portal |
Keeps you signed in to your personal portal (files overview, support, account). Contains a signed, random token — not your credentials. |
Up to 1 hour of inactivity. |
| File-transfer session cookie |
Keeps your connection to the file-transfer environment authenticated while you browse and transfer files. Contains a random session value — no personal data. |
Until you close your browser. |
| Security token (file-transfer) |
Protects your actions in the file-transfer environment against cross-site request forgery. A single-use check value — not a password. |
Until you close your browser. |
| Server-affinity cookie |
Connects you to the specific server that holds your session, so your sign-in keeps working across a clustered environment. |
Until you close your browser. |
| Sign-in handoff cookie |
Carries your verified sign-in securely from the login page into the file-transfer environment, so you do not have to sign in twice. |
Up to 1 hour of inactivity. |
| Sign-in verification (temporary) |
Holds your in-progress sign-in (encrypted) between the password and the verification-code step — for example while you read the code from your email. |
About 10 minutes, then deleted automatically. |
| One-time notifications |
Shows a confirmation or error message once after an action, then is removed. |
Deleted as soon as it has been shown. |
| Language choice |
Remembers whether you read the pages in Dutch or English. |
One year. |
| Display preference |
Remembers your dark or light display choice. Kept in your browser's local storage, not as a cookie. |
Until you clear your browser data. |
| Your cookie choice |
Remembers the cookie preferences you selected, together with the version of these settings they were made against. Kept in your browser's local storage, not as a cookie. |
Until you clear your browser data. |
| Interface preferences (file-transfer) |
While you use the file-transfer interface it may remember the choices you make there — your column layout, share history, and player settings. Placed by the interface itself and read only by it. |
Until you clear your browser data. |
Where your choice lives
Your consent decision itself is kept in your browser's local storage — not in a cookie — together with the version of the consent settings it was made against. Nothing about your choice is stored on our servers.
Changing or withdrawing consent
Use the “Cookie settings” button on any public page to reopen the preferences at any time. You can also clear the site data for this domain in your browser to remove the stored decision.
